Few weddings that I have photographed have resulted in both bride and groom and the father of the bride being joined in the pool by half of the guests. Make that none! This might tell you something about the kind of evening we had at Katie & Christopher’s wedding!

It all started the day before at the couple’s civil ceremony. A chance to capture the short service and some lovely portraits and family group shots, I have photographed a few ceremonies at the town hall in the past and it’s always an enjoyable location to work in, full of natural light.

The next day we reconvened at Famagusta gate for a more formal Anglican Church ceremony. I have always enjoyed working in this location, the ancient 16th century Venetian brick work imbuing a warmth to the images and a tapestry for some wonderful composition!

Reconvening at the Groom’s family home after the pre-requisite family and couple portraits, the fun and frolics began in earnest; Belly dancers, and a flame performing guest being the entrée to our aforementioned finale! Thanks chaps for making my job so enjoyable, it was a privilege working with you!
